With any plastic parts that need 'stretching or squeezing' into position it is worth taking your time as it is very difficult to damage these parts. Try warming the handle in a Bowl of hot water to increase its flexibility before gently manipulating it into place. we are sorry but sometimes it is just a case of struggling to try and fit these parts.
