Tripping electric

Hi, I have a double oven, the top oven is an oven/grill. Whilst using the lower oven last week, it tripped the electric switch and wont heat up, you can hear the fan is on and the light is on but no heat. The top grill works, but if you switch it to oven mode it also trips the electric switch. The cooker is only 20 months old, so wouldnt think it would be the element. but also the top oven i have been told works from the grill element, but the grill works. its just when you switch to oven mode on either oven that that it trips the switch. Any idea if this part could be the cause please? (Apologies i hope my questions makes sense)

The likeliest cause of the oven tripping the electrics would be the element so you would need to check it with a meter.
