we have frigidare model 1800T bagless vacumn, the machine sucks fine but is very noisy is this common? also if turned up to full vac electric meter spins more than any other appliance I have seen.

Some vacuums may have a 2000 watt motor and use almost as much power as a kettle or fan heater. This reflects the power of the motor and is not likely to be a fault.
