Just how do I get the old front off ??? without smashing the drawer - I have tried all ways - any tips

Answer this Question (2 Answers)

  • Take the drawer out of the freezer for an hour or two - when it is cold it is more brittle? As the other poster mentioned, gently lever the drawer away from the front where the round pegs are - they are tapered front to back as well so it is easier to press the replacement front on - so ease the rearward part of the peg out first? • I had to ease it off with a small screw-driver levering the old drawer off under the round location holes. but you will have to be careful not to damage the drawer. I found it best to start at the top. By Anonymous - York, England - 02 January 2012
