Sometimes when the grill is turned off, the power supply trips off on the distribution board taking with it everything else via the RCB on the board. Do you know whythis might occur?

    The likely reason is a break down of the grille element. Replace the element first as this should resolve the problem and may not be able to prove without a Megger see video: http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/1/2145/how-to-diagnose-problems-with-your-oven
