wires element in door has burnt out have purchased new door lock part how do i fit it and rewire it

- I've had the same issue happen to me. Although the terminals in the plug looked black and burnt out when I plugged the cable into the new internal door lock it worked fine. The fault was within the actual door lock not the cable. hope this helps.
