Whether seal fits over top chrome piece
I see in your earlier answer that the seal is to be fitted to the top and the sides. My Diplomat has been untouched since new and the seal fits to the sides and bottom where there is provision for it. Part of it goes around the top but there is a chrome piece top centre top that has no seal around it. Are you certain that the whole of the top should be sealed as there does not appear to be any provsion on the top centre for a seal?

Hi Ken, I've not seen a three-sided seal fit at the bottom before, but I can only recommend fitting the new seal in exactly the way the old one was fitted!
