My Candy Grand O washer gets stuck after washing with the stain vanish light flashing, and doesn't spin

A friend told me it could be the heating element that is faulty? Everything else works fine.

Hello there The Doctor. There's a number of reasons your washing machine is cutting out - an element is one of them, however generally a damaged element will also coincide with the water in the machine not heating up. My advice would be to have a look inside the machine. First follow the flow of water in the machine, from inlet valve to drain hose, and check the components for damage. Following that, check electrical parts, using a multimeter to test for current.
