I unpluged the remins of the Capacitor, is it Ok just to plug in the replacement. Also to remove I pulled out the drai tube as this did not seem to be fixed to anything at the back of the dishwasher. Is this right?

Like a previous reviewer, this faulty component was tripping out a 32 amp mcb in the consumer unit (following a loud bang from the base of the dishwasher). Perhaps Bosch should look in to this re potential safety recall?...removed blackened capacitor as was adjacent cable termination block. Potential fire hazard?. Have ordered repalacement components via this excellent website.
