Purpose of rear felt pad
Investigating a squeak from the rear of our Zanussi TC 470 Tumble Dryer, I the removed the plastic cover that covers the round section pump belt and found a large amount of green powder in this area from something that had dissintigrated beyond recognition, could this be the rear felt pad part No ES501204 and what is its purpose please.

Hi Speedway Without actually seeing your Zanussi TC 470 tumble dryer, it is impossible to tell what is causing this problem. What I would advise is talking to your local Zanussi or tumble dryer specialist and they should be able to diagnose the problem for you. And that's where we come in!
