My AL130 won't spin. Can the door interlock prevent the machine spinning?

The washing machine washes but when it comes to any of the spin cycles it starts the initial spin and then just stops after the first 'turn-over' with water in the drum. The door remains locked as it should. I know the machine won't spin unless the door is locked and thought perhaps the interlock switch is faulty.

Answer this Question (1 Answer)

  • The problem with my door interlock started in this way (Hoover WDM 120 01) and then the machine would not start at all. The door lock light did not illuminate but the machine had power. Replacing the interlock solved this. By Alison - - 18 February 2013
