i want changed the bearing hoover HNL6166-80 model, but i cant separate the back drum and plastic cover whey?

On some drum assemblies they have stopped bolting the front and back together and now weld the two parts to reduce the chance of leaking. Unfortunately if you have a welded drum it is not usually possible to replace the bearings as you cannot dismantled the drum and reseal it.
