What does the exhaust thermostat actually do?, how would I know it was not working?

    Hi Dlb56 The thermostat exhaust is the part in the tumble dryer that's expels heat and fumes and feeds them in to the hose vent. You would know if the exhaust wasn't working correctly if your dryer was overheating and not venting the heat.
