The new part I have received is labelled 1, 2 and 3 for the wiring. The part I have removed is labelled C, N and L as in your pictures. Could you tell me which numbers/letters match up?

It is very important not to connect this switch incorrectly as this would damage the board, an engineer would trace the connections out with a meter. If you are unable to fit this part either contact an engineer or you can return subject to our policy listed at: http://www.espares.co.uk/returns.
