my dyson DC07 all floors is fine when I am using it upright, but as soon as I tilt it back it makes a grinding sound, is it needing a new clutch, I have changed the clutch belt but this hasn;t resolved the problem.

Hi Sandi, the clutch is effectively a gear, and so the grinding noise is probably coming from it. Before replacing it, I'd give it a clean, removing any build up. If that doesn't solve the problem, you'll need a new clutch.
