My White Knight CL300 tumble dryer door is not closing, the latch and striker pin are not broken but I cannot work out why it is not shutting, could it be the spring?

The door latch hook must be sprung to hold onto the door frame. Confirm Stock Number: ES185739 has not lost the hook end and springs correctly into position.
