I read Dorian's question/answer and realize that the small plastic nozzle is not available separately. What does it do & can the dishwasher work OK if that bit is missing from the filter?

Hi merryberry, I'm afraid I've exhausted all of my resources in getting an answer to this question, and wouldn't be able to tell you for sure without actually having a look at the dishwasher myself. The only guess I have, and I stress that it is a guess, is that the nozzle is positioned just under the cutlery basket and sprays water at it. If I was right, then if this part is snapped off, the cutlery won't be able to get properly clean.
