is the heater an easy fix or is it a bugger to get to

Answer this Question (4 Answers)

  • This has to be the easiest job I've ever done on white goods. It took little more than the time to change a light bulb. Three cycles now and all good - THANKS. By Mark Wallis - Bedfordshire - 21 September 2018

The motor and the heater twist and lock together. Once the hose connection is released twist the motor and heater in opposite directions to release, they are likely to be very tight to turn. To refit push firmly together and rotate until locked.

  • I have same repair to do. Do you have a video yet? Or, could you at least tell me how to remove my faulty heater from the motor so i can fit this replacement. By Steven Jeffries - Dover - 20 September 2017

It may not be an easy fix but with perseverance it can be done, unfortunately we do not have a video on an indesit dishwasher at this time.
