Does my Morphy Richards Steam generator iron need 1 or 2 silicone gromets? there looks to be two spigits yet I only have one gromet?

Answer this Question (2 Answers)

  • Mine has a grommet on each spigot so I'd say you have lost one already, it may become lodged in the tank hole, or ripped and fell out as mine did. If you've lost one it will be noisier than usual. By RW - - 14 November 2015

We may not have this information even if you gave the model number but if steam is escaping then try a grommit. The usual cause of steam escaping is the system being clogged with limescale from hard water.
