Does this just sit between the hinge and the machine?
I went to fix on the new door and knocked something and it fell inside the washing machine... im guessing this was it. but it seemed to be put there from inside the machine so wasn't sure about fitting? thank you very much

The hinge support would normally slot into the front part of the cabinet on the inside, unclip the door seal off and you should be able to refit the hinge support.
