DeLonghi Thermal Cut Out Fuse

I have purchased thermal fuse and fitted in my delonghi 6700 the old one was open circuit stopping my steam being made for frothing milk it worked for one cup and went open cicuit again with new one fitted if I bye pass this thermal fuse the steamer works fine but I am concerned that the element must be getting to hot causing this to happen it makes coffee with no problem its just when you use the steam side it does not work and keeps making thermal fuse go open circuit the element reads 50 ohms and the coffee thermal fuse is fine even though it is located close to steam thermal fuse could you please help me with this fault and let me know what part is needed to rectify regards steve

    If you are in a hard water area ensure there is not a build up of lime scale as this will restrict flow and can cause overheating. Use a de scaler like Stock Number: ES1541155.
