when the new parts come the carbon is not sticking out of the housing, should they be?

  • Fix the brush holders to the motor then, using a thin screwdriver, gently slide the brushes onto the commutator from the back of the brush holder. There will be a click when the brush is released from its transit grip, and makes contact with the commutator. By Gordon - Northumberland. - 15 November 2016
