The washing machine will not start when the door is shut. The mechanism does not secure door and it easily is pulled open even when the start button is pressed.
Machine is Samsung WF80F5E2W4X/EU The Red icon (a lock) will flash for 10 seconds then come straight back on.

Check the machine has not accidentally been set to child lock. This usually involves holding one or two buttons for 3 to 5 seconds to lock or unlock the machine.
