Baumatic BT 6.3GL

The above has been replaced some months ago but very recently neither lights nor the motor are now working on the cooker hood. I have checked the fuse in the plug and an electrician friend has checked the fuses on the PCB. It suggests to me that I need to replace the PCB. Any advice is welcome . Specifically could anything else be causing the problem.? Could something be causing the PCB to blow? My other option is to replace the complete cooker hood but this is a bit messy as it was cut do an to fit and tiles could be affected
