Fan

when I turn my oven on the fan makes a clattering sound do I need a new fan or is it something else ?

    To help prevent damage to a fan element turn the thermostat down to minimum for thirty seconds before switching off. Switching straight off stopping the fan immediately when the element is hot can cause overheating and damage the element as the circulating air stops.
