Should a baumatic oven grill liner be screwed into the roof of the oven?

My oven grill liner touches the grill element after sliding it into position. Should I be fixing it into place somehow? Or it it ok to use the grill without it being in place?

Hi Pritti, I'd advise removing the grill liner, and then looking inside the oven cavity for any points at which the grill liner could fit - maybe screw holes or teeth it could ridge on to. Also check the grill liner for the same kind of thing.
