Re Thermostat symptoms

I have the Beko WM6355W Washing Machine and the Water does not get Hot (I think only because the Glass Door doesn't feel hot at all when its washing) not even warm. I suspected the Heater Element but your Video says that it will cut out the Electric supply if it goes wrong. My machine doesn't. Should I get the Heater Element or the Thermostat do you think please?

Linked bellow is a video on our advice centre page showing how to diagnose washing machine heating problems: http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/7/1794/ . Washing machines with a faulty heater generally do not complete the cycle due to low water through the drum, you may not feel heat through the glass.
