My beko fridge la120 w, works ok but it won't stop running,is it likely to be the thermostat

If it had a faulty thermostat causing it to run continualy then the fridge would be extra cold and food would be freezing. It is likely that the hot weather means the machine is working hard to keep the temperature low. Check the thermostat is not set to low and measure the temperature inside.
