I am changing the thermostat on an Ikea fridge freezer model CB304W (apparently the same as CB651) with the sevice number as 853976215051.
The thermostat housing doesn not have any fixings such as screws so the tempreture control knob appears to be the only fixture. I am however unable to take the temperature knob off to be able to remove the thermostat housing from the fridge wall.

If you look at the third image of the knob Stock Number: ES1436641 you will see it has hooked prongs that will try and hold it in place. Use a screwdriver to carefully prise off.
