Smeg fab32 fridge door seal

Door apears to be glued together - no screws to undo. How does the replacement seal fit?

  • Andrew, did this work for you? I have a smeg fab32 too, with a split seal. It looks like the seal is glued in. No screws that I can see. Does this seal fit as a replacement, and if so, how do you attach it? I can't see any alternative channels. By Bill - - 27 July 2015

Some door seals are glued in place during manufacture but can be cut off and a new seal pushed into a channel moulded into the door (check before cutting off). For more information see our video: How to replace a freezer door seal http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/2/1145
