VTD00P Tumble dryer help!!

Can anyone give me any indication of what the problem is with my tumble dryer. When its switched on it starts to smell of burning rubber, the drum then sometimes stops working and the machine makes a humming noise. I've taken it to pieces as much as possible and the belt holding the middle of the drum looks pretty good, with no marks of slipping. It also looks like there should be a front belt as there are rubber marking on the front of the drum, but I can't see one. Where should I be looking to see if there is a front belt? Guidance please.
