Will this fit on my garden tap?
I recently bought a Hozelock reel with hose and two adaptors. Neither fit on my tap. One is far too big and the other one which fits on and seems like it should fit does not screw on and appears to have a different thread to my tap. The tap was already here when I moved in about 16 years ago and I don't know if threads have changed in that time what with imperial/metric sizes. It's really annoying as I am unable to use my new hose. How do I know this will fit? I don't want the expense of returning it if it doesn't.

The two sizes and types of thread are likely to be the same as the Hozelock product and if that did not fit it suggests your tap has a 'odd size'. We would suggest you contact a good plumbers merchant for advice.
