Hi I replaced my smeg oven element before,, I had a problem a few weeks ago my bottom main oven stopped working I have looked at the element I don't see any burn marks on it so I'm not sure if it is the element any way of testing it

If it's the thermostat how do I change it on a smeg A42 Many thanks Shamis

    If the fan is working and the oven temperature indicator is lit but no heat in the oven suspect the element. You can check with a meter for a resistance of less than 30 ohms.
