Fitted these to my Mums Beko WMC61S Washing Machine. It works great but makes a whirring sound. Do the brushes take a while to bed in? Can these be fitted in the wrong order? I couldn't see any difference between the 2 bushes which came out.

The brushes can be fitted incorrectly, you need to make sure the pips on the underside of the brush fits in the exact place on the motor as the original and the brush usually fits on an angle to the motor.
