Bosch Dishwasher E10 Error Code

If your trusty Bosch dishwasher is flashing with an E10 error code on the control panel, it may not be very helpful to you - as you probably don't know what the code means right?

However, there is no need for you to fret - as that’s where we come in! The fault is associated with the heating element being blocked with limescale.

Hopefully, by continuing to read this article, you can save yourself some well-earned money by fixing the problem yourself.

Heating Element

If you’re living in a hard water area, limescale from the water may build up on the heater element. Left untreated the limescale can form a thick layer over the dishwasher’s heater and prevent the water from flowing through.

The best way to tackle the build-up is to use a specialist cleaner, our highly recommended eSpares Dishwasher & Washing Machine Cleaner is a simple and effective way to help tackle and thoroughly rid the limescale in all areas not accessible in the machine.

Once you've cleaned the internal parts of your appliance with a dishwasher cleaner and descaler, your appliance may be back in working order. However, if the error code persists or if your appliance isn't heating properly after cleaning, it means the limescale has already caused too much damage. In this case, the element will need to be replaced.

If the heater needs replacing you can check out our extensive range of elements to help restore your appliance.
