  I first purchased this item from E spares 2 years ago, I strim my lawn edges each time the grass is cut (weekly) from March to November and 1 loaded reel plus a 20 m refill spool has lasted all that time. I would thoroughhly recommend it to anyone who likes things simple. So easy to re-load the spool, it nevr twists or snarls up. Excellent product and superb service from e spares. It saves all that dragging round a big store searching.

  You get what you pay for! 20 April 2015

  This is so much better than the cheaper version you get from B&Q or Homebase. After fitting 3 metres on each half of the spool I used the strimmer for 2 hours without a single lockup. Never had that before. I can thoroughly recommend getting the "proper" stuff from e-spares. Their discount offsets the postage costs, so no need to burn fuel driving to the nearest store, which probably only has the plain cylindrical option that locks up at the slightest provocation.
