  Replacement switch arrived promptly, i liked the feature on the wbsite where you can enter the model number to make sure you are ordering the right thing! The switch slotted in easily. Putting the housing back together was a bit tricky, due to the design of the cooker hood, position of screws, etc., not the switch, so I would recommend having more than one pair of hands but it's not impossible solo.

  easy to install once you workout that it is installed through the slide slot. Tricky to engage the switch's in the guide of the button having taken the cover off to remove the broken part.

  good and cheap, fast delivery but quite difficult to installthink it needs aspecial tool tool as it took two of us and a g clamp to install it but thats not the fault of e-spares its just the way smeg makes the fitting as there was no give in the plastic components but job done thank you

  Smeg Cooker Hood Motor Button 25 January 2012

  Arrived in a couple of days. I was not sure it would fit into the whole light assembly unit but it did so and works well. The hood was in a new house my daughter had bought. The light / switch unit had obviosuly been taken out a number of times by the previous owner so it was necesary to find some larger screws as the threads into the plastic had worn. Anyway, this part worked well and it saved spending a large amount on a new lighting and switch unit so Espares saved me many pounds!. It seems to be a fairly generic part for a wide range of recent SMEG hoods.
