Compatible Smart Easy1 Learning TV Remote Control for 22AV713B Stock Number: ES1687497
Compatible replacement remote control suitable for select models of televisions
is this easy to tune to TV? Do we need the original remote controller? I ask because my mother lives in a care home and the original remote is not in her room. She has a simplified control, on which she does not need to use buttons which seems a good idea, but she is now finding this difficult. We think she would manage better with large buttons.

re R Henderson's question: The volume control signal on your old remote does not send a 'burst' but sends continuously to keep stepping up or down. Try the same method but press only for a few seconds on the old remote so the signal stops.
- I programmed all the channel buttons easy, but how do you programme the rocker volume control switch

This remote can copy any of the buttons used from another working remote control.

Hi, the sending and receiving buttons are the ones that you wish to clone. For example, if you wanted to clone channel one to the new remote, you'd press 1 on the learning remote and then press 1 on the old remote you're cloning from. Simply repeat this for each button as required.

i.e. Can button 1 be used to remember a 3-digit TV Channel number.

We do not think this is possible, on this remote.
Can each number button be programmed to match the number on original remote so you could input a double digit channel? 1 Answer

I am looking to find a remote which will allow a Samsung TV and a humax freesat to work by combining them to work off 1 on/ off button. My father is struggling with using 2 buttons to turn them on separately. Thank you Audrey

If you manage to programme two functions to one button it could confuse more as they could go out of sequence turning one on as the other is turned off and vise versa.

My Dad has a virgin media remote he finds it difficult to see the buttons on. Would this be compatible as a replacement for it please? 1 Answer

Although it may be able to learn the commands as it is only 46 mm wide (1 1/2 inches) It is not likely to be any easier to view.
