Cut To Size Universal Fridge Plexiglass Shelf Stock Number: ES1562230
Compatible cut to size plexiglass shelf suitable for most fridge freezers
- Well believe it or not ..... I used all I had available A SAW ! Yep normal wood saw and it took me five mins . A couple of tips whilst your trying . Keep the saw as level as possible so cutting more across the length rather than into it and just go along with its OWN speed ! When you near the end take it slowly with NO pressure else it may crack , and its done .

Check some of the reviews, most seem to have success using a fine toothed saw.
I have a Whirlpool american style fridge freezer 20RI-D3 SF the shelf size is 395 x 285mm could the glass be cut to this size? 2 Answers
- (I think the earlier answer may be for a different question!!) This plexiglass is plastic rather than true glass, and the intention is for you to cut the shelf to size. Measure and mark carefully, maybe applying something you can write on, preferably to the removable plastic film ('magic tape' or labels or decorators tape etc). Use either a fine-tooth saw or a jigsaw or a water-cooled diamond-wheel tile-cutting machine, then gently smooth off the cut edges, e.g. with a sanding block. Do NOT try score-and-snap, it doesn't work well on this material. If you could cope with a width of 273.5mm rather than 285mm, you'd just get 2 shelves out of this item.

Closely check whether the door is closing squarely to the cabinet. If not, the door hinges may be faulty. Try removing the door seal to determine whether the door closes further - if it does not this would indicate a fault with the hinges. Otherwise, you may need to replace the seal.
MY FREEZER BASKETS ARE BROKEN AND NOW DISCOUNTINUED, COULD THIS BE USED IN THE FREZZER SO THAT I COULD PUT PLASTIC CONTAINERS ON IT ?

This wouldn't be suitable to hold the weight of freezer containers.

Under weight (like 2 litre milk containers) it tends to bend. All the shelves that came with the fridge have an edging strip that stops them bending. This was a present from my daughter and I would like to use it!

We do not sell 'edging' for this product. Either swap shelves for a lighter loaded original, or you can either 'double up' the shelf or glue strips of off cut under to reinforce the shelve.

If using for a shelve with a lot of bottles or cans we would recommend you used two layers of this to increase its rigidity.
would you deliver to Javea in spain and at what cost and delivery time.

At the top centre of the page click on the blue (change) to set your country and add the part to your basket. Then when you go to ‘Your basket’ the correct cost including delivery (if possible) will be displayed.

We suggest you carefully cut it with a fine tooth saw like a tenon saw or hacksaw. It can be brittle so go slow and do a trial cut on the 'waste' area.
