My Dyson model does not seem to be listed. It says on it DC04 rootcyclone 8 and it is purple and turquoise. Is that the same as the purple and lime DC04?
- All DC04's are basically the same.
- There are some anomolies with the model numbers. In the en I had to go of the illustration of the roller, which fortunately worked.

Knowing the length of the new bristles will allow me to compare with my existing brushroll and know if it needs replacing.

Hi Lofi, the bristles on a new brushroll are roughly 5 or 6mm long.
