Lawnmower Height Adjustment Arm

I'm no Brunel but I know one end of a spanner from the other - is it easy enough to change out the old one and put this in? Any other retaining clips or otherwise that are needed?
- This is fairly straightforward. Lean the machine over onto its right side, so that the left front wheel is uppermost. Carefully lever off its plastic hub cap. Next lever off the spring clip holding the wheel to the axle, placing a finger from your other hand over the end of the axle to prevent the clip shooting into oblivion once it has been released. Pull the wheel from the axle. Remove the plastic button securing the height adjuster arm to the long plastic rod that runs to the back wheel. There is a small tab on the edge of the button which needs to be released first, then the button can easily be pushed upwards and out from underneath. The job is much easier if you now remove the front axle. It is held to the underside of the machine by two screws with flat washers. With the axle off the machine, hold it up vertically, with one hand under the right wheel to support it, then knock what remains of the old arm downwards and off the axle. You may need to use a light hammer to tap the new arm into place on the axle. Make sure it is fully home. Secure the axle to the underside of the machine with the two screws (and washers) before connecting the arm to the rod with the plastic button. The rest of the reassembly is the reverse of the dismantling. Make sure the wheel spring clip is fully home on the axle. Re-fit the hub cap, lining up the indents on the cap with the indents around the edge of the wheel before pressing it home. Bring the machine back to the upright position, and you are ready to start mowing again!
- Its is very easy to fit this part, there is a circular retaining clip that holds the wheel, apart from that just a plastic button that pushes through the adujstment arm into the plastic height adjuster arm linked to the wheels.
- Simple. Lever the wheel cover off, pull off the ring retaining the wheel and remove the wheel. Using a small screwdriver lever off the cap holding the arm in place, slip it round so it clears the height adjustment slots and pull it off (might be a bit tough getting it off the steel wheel axle but not impossible). Re-fit in reverse. Easy!
leaver is not snapped, it just slips out of place, I the no its more of the groves it locks into have worn. Any idea if the bit it locks into is available?

It is likely the plastic has distorted and weakened over time so this should help but if the locating holes are worn it may still come loose.
