Take a look at the video below and this should help you get the filter cleaned up http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/cooker-hoods/a/6/1389/how-to-clean-a-metal-mesh-cooker-hood-filter-.html

Answer this question

I have a Bosch cooker hood (model DKE635BGB) which has 2 rectangular metal grease filters. They don't seem to be filtering anything - water/condensation dripping out! When I remove them there are no filters fitted just the part (ES548354). Do you need to have filters fitted (currently it doesn't have any), or do you have to clean the filters (if so what recommended way?). If none of the above, it seems a lot of money (£41) for a replacement - only 3yrs old.

  • I see your question is dated 2010 but quite simply my wife puts the filter in the dishwasher and they lasted about 5 years before replacing them and 'yes' they are expensive but unfortunately necessary By JohnP - Portsmouth - 04 April 2013

It was fitted in 2003 and the only code for it on my invoice (from MFI) is ABH2400, with a charcoal filter kit also supplied, code ABH 2908. We haven't done anything to it since fitting so that might be the problem. Do you stock this charcoal filter kit? if so, how often should they be renewed? also I need 2 lights for it. please let me know your codes for both of these parts. thanks. PS the extractor doesn't extract to the outside.

Hi Lynneliz I can't match the ABH2400 in our database of Bosch cooker hoods. The model number should be twelve characters long, including a forward slash two characters from the end. If you could double check your cooker hood for the model number we would be happy to find the right charcoal filter and lamps for you. Answer this question

I want to purchase a extractor fan filter and the only details i can find are as follows: BLANCO 2003301 FABR.N.021145 240v 50hz 210wtot Motor 2x130wats 2x40watts. The cooker and hob are both Bosh and as the kitchen planner had a problem fitting the original extractor i am not sure whether it is a bosh or not. Is Blanco a different model to Bosh? However the extractor fan filter looks exactly like yours but I am not sure of the size match. Also does one have purchase the whole thing or does it open to put new filters in? I would also like a new bulb for the oven and the model number is HBN9350GB/06 if this can be replaced? Thankyou

Hi Winniethepooh Unfortunately we do not stock extractor fan filters for the Blanco 20033301 cooker hood, and this one is not compatible. However we will look to our suppliers and aim to stock one in the future. We hope your search for a filter was successful though!
