I’ve replaced the heater and the drum thermostat. Therefore, would replacing the controller solve the problem.

Zanussi, Model TC7114W. S/N 23400273, Prod No. 916720602 00 Heater has been replaced and the thermostat but the I do not think the drum stat was checked.

    The timer is part of the dryer circuit which control the heating but the rest of the circuit would need to be checked with a multimeter.

The drums rotates in one direction for 5 minutes then reverses for 7 seconds before the cycle begins again. Will a new timer cure the problem?

    This is likely to be normal and a new timer would be unlikely to change this.
