- The only awkward part of fixing on my oven was that there was a connector block to the right of the connectors which was held in place by the fixing bolt of the element. In fairness if you had a suitable long socket it is easy to replace. I only had an adjustable which made it slightly awkward.

Hi Tombradshaw Replacing an oven element is a fiddly job, and if you are not confident in replacing it yourself, I would recommend talking to a qualified technician.

Many grill elements can be regulated by the oven thermostat. ensure the door is open and this is set to full.
My element seems to be riveted on the inside, either that or the two screws are badly corroded. Doesn't seem to have a philips head or star?

As you can see on this part some elements have bolts fitted to the bracket that pass through the rear wall of the oven and have nuts and washers fixing from the back. Remove the rear cabinet to access and remove these nuts.
