Dishwasher purchased 1994, cant find number on side or at back, but there is a number on front plate that fastens onto the worktop ,this is 08:19. Broken handle looks very like one pictured here.Neff dishwasher.

This fits 200 Neff models. The model number is usually stamped in the door skin at the top edge inside. You may need good light to actually read this.

If your dishwasher is not fitted with a plug then it is important to turn the supply of to the appliance. If you are unsure turn the fuse board circuit to the kitchen off. I have now attached a video covering this type of repair to the part.
I have purchased the door handle and back casing but when fitted I can still see white plastic from inside. Is there another part that I need and if so how do I find it?

Will the dishwasher door handle part no ES502827 fit my dishwasher model 5122.151w and if so what is the part number for a white one? My dishwasher is 19 years old, used every other day and this is the first broken part! congratulations Neff.
