I can't even see where the bulb is and it looks to me as if I have to take off the outer case of the microwave. There are no clues in the instruction book

  • The fitting will be similar to my own microwave. the outer cover has to be removed, then you will see a ducting going from a black circular fan to the overhead grill element, remove the 1 screw holding the fan the bulb is underneath held in place by 2 tabs through the mounting holes.depending on the hole diamater you may have to file out the holes to fit the tab's through to mount the replacement bulb By Anonymous - wigan Lancashire - 06 January 2011

To replace bulbs in most microwaves you would have to remove the cabinet, this could allow you to accidentally come into contact with the high voltage that is used to power the microwave. This could easily prove to be fatal and for this reason eSpares recommend that you do not remove the case unless you have been trained to work on microwaves.

Unfortunately I can't seem to find any fitting instructions for this - please give Goodmans a call to ask them for their advice on this matter.
