The battery provides 27 minutes run time off a full charge. To release the filter: press the dirt container release button to remove dirt container, squeeze tabs to remove filter and frame. The manual states for optimum cleaning results clean the filter every 4-6 uses.
Does it perform well as regards picking up dog hair.
- I was surprised at how well it picked up dog hair (we have two), from all surfaces including carpet and hard floors.
- Quite noisy, dirt container fills up very quickly and battery doesn't allow enough time to vacuum house in one go...you have to empty dirt container and recharge before continuing. It's lighter to carry around than my cylinder vacuum cleaner though.
