Karcher Premium Irrigation Set
Introducing the Premium Irrigation Set from Karcher. This set has everything you need to keep your flower beds, garden or vegetable patches watered to there optimum.
Water your garden according to the moisture level of the soil, and exactly when it's needed. The set comes with a SensoTimer ST6 ecologic and moisture sensor. The sensor measures the soil moisture level, sending information every 30 minutes to the timer.
You can choose from 5 moisture levels to suit your garden, and programme with the easy to use control panel. If the moisture drops below your selected level, watering starts automatically on the next scheduled water.
Set up to 2 times of day to water your garden, and you can delay watering by 1-7 days so you won't have to worry whilst away on holiday or on damp days.
The ready to use kit also has an adjustable soaker hose, which drips constantly along its entire length. You can connect the drip nozzles and spray nozzles to the 15 meter rain system hose creating precision irrigation and for an individual system that works for you.
You can assemble and disassemble as required, making it extremely flexible and possible of many configurations. This is a very efficient and economical way of watering your plants.

I need to run the system around the edge of a courtyard garden. It has two beds with a gate between them where I want to use the soaker hose. With this system, could I split the soaker hose into two sections and connect with the rain hose?

The soaker hose can be cut to length using sharp scissors and attached to any of the hose connectors provided allowing multiple short lengths.
Is this system suitable for indoor use (large conservatory)? What is its failure mode, is it susceptible to dripping flooding etc. 1 Answer

This could be used for large greenhouses or conservatories. The valve will be 'fail safe' stopping the water if low batteries. Fitting connections should be water tight but we suggest the connections are inside plant pots to use any leakage and prevent damage.

This will depend on water pressure but it is likely several hoses could be used but the soaking may take longer due to reduced flow.
