The machine motor was all bunged up. I have managed to remove the crud but the motor is running sound is of a very loud high pitch noise.Í presume this means a replacemement motor is needed?

The most likely cause would be the motor.

We believe this cleaner can be used without bags when picking up rubble but if there is a large dust content (ie plaster) then the filter may get block so refer to the instruction book for guidance when using it.

You cannot continually discharge as water is drawn in by the reduced air pressure in the base. If a drain hole was fitted it would draw in and not allow water out.
