- The best thing to do about dog urine stains is to soak up as much urine as possible first, then sprinkle the area with white vinegar to neutralise it - leave it for a short time - an hour or so, and then use the carpet shampooer on it to wash and suck it all out. That should neutralise the stain so the dog doesn't then return to the area to urinate again.

This product does not state it will remove the smell of cat urine so we do not think it is suitable.
Toddler been sick on carpet and smell still lingers. Would this help?

For 'manual cleaning' we assume you are not using a carpet cleaning machine. If you mix this as directed by the bottle and fill a plant spray or lightly sponge it can be used for cleaning but always try in a hidden area first and do not leave wet.
